You should marry your brother or cousin.
But a close cousin.
In fact, a 1st cousin.
I think Abraham knew what he was doing when he gave Issac to" Rebby baby girl"*
Why should you marry your brother?
Because then you do not need a new family. Your old one will suffice.
You never have to learn how to greet your husbands mother- because I mean you have been greeting her all
your life a certain way.
You know what else? Your mother will never wake up at 3 am to pray for the salvation of your husband to be.
I mean- You guys already attend the same church/ mosque.
Which means if you are catholic, your husband will never have to sign away his rights to raise his kids how he likes to the church.
If you marry your cousin- your aunty becomes your mother in law.
I can give you a million and one reasons why this would work, pure blood lines, no half blood princes etc etc etc
But most importantly- the off chances of loosing the one you really love to religion or tribe differences - totally eliminated.
Okay- maybe same aso-ebi during the wedding is more important.
*= Rebecca in the bible was chosen to marry her cousin Issac as all the other girls around were heathens.

Best Man and Curry Gizzard
This weekend after my exams, I threw my books under the bed and settled in to watch a movie.
I chose the 1999 classic/ blue print of all African american movies.
"THE BEST MAN"
Yup, unfortunately a lot of us have seen it, but its such a good movie and all that jazz.
I saw this in maybe Jss1 or Jss2 so I really did not understand why Lance was mad that his best friend and man slept with his wife to be- abi they are friends.
Fastforward to 2013( the year of sexual enlightenment and all that jazz) I find that this is unacceptable.
Anyways here are the Vows( Which are so beautiful) and the speech Taye Diggs gave at the reception.
So fucking beautiful- I tell you.
Dear future husband please feel free to LIFT this shit word for word okay? I won't be mad I swear- Just read it off an iPad and I think we are good to go.
Next the best man speech- I really liked this because you was basically begging his girlfriend, subbing Nia long and at the same damn time making a toast that reflected the situation at hand. LOVE IT!
After that V asked/invited me to a flat party. I declined. I just don't feel like partying yet. I feel like I am this point where I am kind of done with partying- You know? Like Life is good, but it gets better than that.
On saturday the worst thing happened to me- I went to the bank and it was closed so I decided to look around the shops on the high street.
Walked into this shop found a perfect pair of size Nine boots on sale *squeal* they were £75 and had come down to £10. I didn't have cash but I was so optimistic that I walked to the counter and asked IF I could use my card to pay.
Turns out I could. So I whipped out my Fidelity bank Visa Card aaannnnddddd Everything pretty much went down hill from there.
I bought a new coat, jewelry, clothes random house stuff.pizza, spring rolls.
I basically turned myself into a debit card ninja- Slotting in my card and paying for everything and anything.
Only good thing that came out of all that is that I probably have michelle Obama arms by now with all the stuff I had to carry back to my flat.
Did Laundry, cleaned the kitchen, washed my bathroom, hand swept my room floor because the vacuum cleaner in my apartment is really shit- if anyone knows where I can find a proper Nigerian room in Scotland- Please "alla atchur gurl".
Today I went to church- AMEN SOMEBODY!
I was the only black person there and it was such a different service from all the casting and binding and witches and wizards services I am so used to. The pastor preached about the all encompassing nature of God, how different doctrines try to fit him into a box as small as thier minds can understand and no more.
Basically Baba God is bigger thanall of you the mind can comprehend. It was a good service.
After church I did some more random shopping- even though I shouldn't have- I'm probably going to have to cut up my card at this rate. :(
So I came home and decided to cook something fancy.
I cooked curry gizzard, coconut rice with prawns and dodo.
Not having a maid help you chop up all your condiments before you start cooking is stressful yo!
I literally had to clean the gizzard, chop the onions, garlic, pepper, tomatoes etc etc. pluck the coriander leaves ( which I had no idea what they were until today- But they gave my gizzard curry a very distinct taste I am still trying to place)
Then start cooking- finish it, move to the rice- finish that and start frying the plantain- Thankfully my housemate came to help me.
In the end success.
However the food will most likely go to waste because- I had zero appetite after all that cooking and standing on my feet and washing up and all that.
But My house mate kept saying she can't believe I am so adventurous- cooking food with just an online recipe.
Risk takers lomo.
AND in all of this immersion of my hands in water, laundry yesterday, plate washing, cooking, bathroom washing my nail polish is yet to chip.
I AM SO FUCKING IMPRESSED!
I do not know IF it is the brand- If yes- ORLY for president.
If its the water- No wonder I still feel dirty and I have to rescrub myself at least twice till I can feel clean, which might be what is making my skin lighter- I will come to that much later.
Classes start tomorrow- I liked the weekend- Chilled, lazy with a lot of productivity( I was able to buy a book :))
And I am going to start taking piano lessons.
Between the Gym, school work and piano lessons, I hope I find time to see the world or at least part of it in scotland- my friend Asake said I should kuku go and study to be a scientist since that is what I am trying to do!
I wish all of you a fruitful week ahead, lots of happiness and smiles all round etc etc etc
( You can see I am in a very good mood tonight)

So fucking beautiful- I tell you.
These are the vows from the movie:Bride:"My friend, my love, my hero. Loving you is my heart's joy. It teaches me to be faithful to my personal truths. As I stand beside you this day, I offer you the very heart of me, filled with sacred love. pure, unconditional and everlasting. For love bears all things, endures all things and believes all things. Love never fails..and I do love you, mind body and soul."Groom"My darling, my love. As I stand here beside you this day...know that there is nothing greater than love. For god is love and having faith in you and believing our love...makes life worth living. And as I stare, as I stare upon your angelic face..I am made whole today ..a man with higher purpose.... for on this virtue is a man's greatest glory. From this day forward we should love one another as God loves us."

Best Man Speech
"I have learned from them what it means to be truly committed to another person. I've learned the importance of ceasing the moment. Because you can't go back. You can never go back. You have to live for today. Not for what was or what what could have been. And what will be..no one can say. But sometimes...you just have to step out on faith and believe that what you have built together is worth preserving. Because when you are made for each other as much as these two are...it's definitely definitely worth preserving. So to the bride and groom" May god bless this union.
After that V asked/invited me to a flat party. I declined. I just don't feel like partying yet. I feel like I am this point where I am kind of done with partying- You know? Like Life is good, but it gets better than that.

Happy
And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back and with a loud voice glorified God, and fell down on his face at his feet giving him thanks... ( Luke 17:15-16)
I am so happy and thankful!
Wheeeeeeee!
And this has nothing to do with my pending birthday for which I am yet to figure out what I plan to do with myself.
My mother plans to organize a party for me- for the induction.
we looked through the clothes I own sef- and found nothing decent to wear.
I am so excited for her- She almost can not believe it,
This year was so full of good tidings for me. It is amusing and to think I started my 1st audit job this year in tears.
Now- I am doing Senior work. I have staff. I am meeting deadlines.
I am growing in paid employment.
I am sha happy.
:)
Are you guys happy?
Please be happy.
I have sooo much to speak about. But I have no time.
Hopefully soon I will have some time to talk about all the delicious goodness of my life.
Thank you Jesus!

Books from Bookie.
My friend just sent me the most delicious book ever.
Dear 50 shades of grey fans. Imma let yall finish BUT no one does BSDM erotica like black lace.
Anyway.
I just popped over to let you know
1- My current client is trying to poach me- AS IF.
2- I am a happy bunny- Neww books!
3- I went to the gym this morning- Also a fit bunny!
I will be back with a more decent post on how my weekend went.
By the way I met this 40 something year old hair dresser.
Probably the most agreeable Nigerian male I have ever met.
I am one of the worst peoples' hair to make- My current hair dresser Yinka must be tired of me.
But Baba?
Too sweet. Perfect disposition.
I'm soo accustomed to the abrasive nature of Nigerian men, that this was a pleasant surprise.
However the saloon is in Festac.
I was so horribly drawn to his person. * sigh*
I say horribly because I am never drawn to anyone. attracted yes. drawn Never.
Plus he started making hair in 1986 when he was wrapping up his stay at yaba tech.
In 1986, I was not even born.
I do not know what kind of person this makes me.
Yesterday was absolutely delish. The lover, his brother, his brothers girl and I all went to visit his mother.
It was such an amazing time. After which we came home and drank wine from the bottle because we were both too comfortable in our postion.
Does that happen to anyone? You find the perfect postion with your lover and refuse to move?
No one? Well just me then.
so we sat there, drinking wine and watching el-classico.
I am team C-Ronaldo just incase anyone is interested.
Its days like yesterday that make me so skeptical about going to school.
I have been thinking about it a lot lately.
Also my birthday is coming.
While I'm not particularly excited- I can not believe it. I am going to be twenty- something!!!
I'm getting so old and I have no millions to show for it yet.
I'm also thinking of going away for my birthday.
Calabar, cotonu, Ghana, togo?
However alone.
Does this make me strange?
I also attended a new church yesterday- However, my spirit did not quite gel with that of the pastor and I have no idea why. Will go by again to see if it was just a fluke or for real. Although I am listening to his tapes and he comes across as hella obnoxious. We'll see.
Anyways I'm still reeling from the excitement from yesterday AND the book from today!
Thank you Bookkie for the book!
You rock, hurry back home so I can pay you back with copious amounts of palm wine and Nkwobi!

The weekend is HEREEEEE!
Nothing really to be excited about.
Work starts by 6am tomorrow. Yes the wretched client wants us to come in before environmental.
This is why I need to marry a rich man like yesterday. So that all these extra rubbish will end.
Hian. Tonight is Lizzy's birthday! She is my Lovers neighbors wife and is having a party. guess who got invited?
But down side is the fact that I have this free ticket to see a free movie at GDC.
Being the miserly soul that I am, I decided to wait till Think like a man came out.
Then realised that I had to wait a 2nd week till it became an old movie to qualify to be watched with a free ticket.
30 of june this free ticket expires.
Here in lies my dilemma, I'm stuck with going to watch my movie, or attending Liz's party.
I have a love/hate relationship with the Lovers new job. As always he is a super star at work.
Or so he says- Imma have to ask Tori-Tee, they have started bonding.
I also met the cutest Indian at work today. And while I gave him my pin, I imagined me having beautiful mixed race(Indian) daughters that would never have to buy a strand of Indian human hair at exorbitant prices ever.
Alas, this day dream was shattered as he lean in to tell me how much he'd miss me if I didn't come in to work tomorrow. His garlic breath killed me and my beautiful half caste Indian daughter, with her yansh length hair.
Heart broken, I made a mental note to not speak to him again. Alas our Indian bobo had caught jungle fever.
Talking about how he goes out with his friends to Ikeja every Sunday and I- Me Oreoluwa- A whole me, not even half of me should follow him to Ikeja to go clubbing with his Indian friends.
I just laughed. He had to me messing with me. After much deliberation and several mistaken incidents of him grabbing my waist, because I, according to him almost fell of the ladder twice.
I love male attention, just not from garlicy smelly Indians. Oh and Yoruba boys as well
The other day I was telling the Lover, if i could rid the world of one thing, it would be Yoruba boys.
He thought I was messing around but I'm serious, I detest Yoruba boys with their smelly local swag and what have you.
Anyway the Lover's birthday is next week. I just told my boss, I would be sick next week. Friday, Saturday & Sunday. I will be sick of cake and birthday s...oup.
The older he gets the practical the gifts get- this year I'm getting him something we both can and will use. I can not wait to see his face when he sees it!
Anyway- What are your weekends saying? good loving in the morning rain?
I was going to take my friend to Pattaya for lunch for her birthday- But she isn't speaking to me hence I'm taking the Lover on Sunday. But after work.
I haven't been to a wedding in weeks- I think I may be falling ill.
My favourite Uncle turned 50 this month, and is having a super special 50th birthday parry! I'm so excited, I don't know if to wear oleku ( which is slowly becoming my favorite attire) Legs on Legs on Legsss!
I am so excited for the weekend! Almost as though someone is going to come and visit and drop a million Naira in my laps.
P.s - I think the pre-depression Ore is slowly returning. The Lover thinks its because he said I don't have to buy him anything for his birthday. Apparently I am his everything. *bats lashes*

Dilemma
How do I tell my mother
That I constantly stay away from the house
and come home late, or not at all
Because I cant stand my sister?
I feel terrible saying it. But it is true. ILove like my sister- as much as the * insert something here*
But I don't think I want to be her friend.
Basically if I had my way- I would have little or no relations with her.
I mean- I'm sure she is a good person.
But we just are not meant to be.
How do I explain this to my mother without upsetting her?
Million Zimbabwean Dollar question.

I saw this and mentally started slow clapping. I brought it here to share, in hope that you would clap along. till it becomes thunderous applause like in the movies.
In June of 1971, just days before his 26-year-old son, Michael, got married, future-U.S. President Ronald Reagan sent him the following letter of advice. It really is quite stunning. All men need to read this!
Michael ReaganSome men feel their masculinity can only be proven if they play out in their own life all the locker-room stories, smugly confident that what a wife doesn't know won't hurt her. The truth is, somehow, way down inside, without her ever finding lipstick on the collar or catching a man in the flimsy excuse of where he was till three A.M., a wife does know, and with that knowing, some of the magic of this relationship disappears. There are more men griping about marriage who kicked the whole thing away themselves than there can ever be wives deserving of blame. There is an old law of physics that you can only get out of a thing as much as you put in it. The man who puts into the marriage only half of what he owns will get that out. Sure, there will be moments when you will see someone or think back to an earlier time and you will be challenged to see if you can still make the grade, but let me tell you how really great is the challenge of proving your masculinity and charm with one woman for the rest of your life. Any man can find a twerp here and there who will go along with cheating, and it doesn't take all that much manhood. It does take quite a man to remain attractive and to be loved by a woman who has heard him snore, seen him unshaven, tended him while he was sick and washed his dirty underwear. Do that and keep her still feeling a warm glow and you will know some very beautiful music. If you truly love a girl, you shouldn't ever want her to feel, when she sees you greet a secretary or a girl you both know, that humiliation of wondering if she was someone who caused you to be late coming home, nor should you want any other woman to be able to meet your wife and know she was smiling behind her eyes as she looked at her, the woman you love, remembering this was the woman you rejected even momentarily for her favors.
Manhattan Beach, California
June 1971
Dear Mike:
Enclosed is the item I mentioned (with which goes a torn up IOU). I could stop here but I won't.
You've heard all the jokes that have been rousted around by all the "unhappy marrieds" and cynics. Now, in case no one has suggested it, there is another viewpoint. You have entered into the most meaningful relationship there is in all human life. It can be whatever you decide to make it.
Mike, you know better than many what an unhappy home is and what it can do to others. Now you have a chance to make it come out the way it should. There is no greater happiness for a man than approaching a door at the end of a day knowing someone on the other side of that door is waiting for the sound of his footsteps.
Love,
Dad
P.S. You'll never get in trouble if you say "I love you" at least once a day.

The weekend
For the weekend on an out of town job, i did not work.
Excitement became me and i went rabid with the thought of no work.
went out friday night, even though it raineeeed.
Had major market runz on saturday, and i had to drive. dont ask
#sidebar all the abuja drivers are mad men that are not roaming- either the roads are too good, or there is too much free money OR the government pays them per accident, because i can not understand the manner of driving that is done in this city.
I mean how can you drive past an intersection with cars going 4 ways and not even slow down?
Madness i tell you.
Sunday was better, went to church - Again the girls that attend that church dress like
a) desperate girls to meet men
b) like they over slept at the club and couldnt be bothered to go home to change first before coming.
c) whores.
I can not understand why you'd wear a dress that you cant sit in, to the house of God.
But then God sees the heart.
After church I stopped over at my girl Nemski gaggles house, met her mom
who kept fawning over how tall and pretty I was- True story.
anyways after we cooked cat fish stew, and ate lunch we then headed over to my other friends Uloh and Kanizilious to swim.
They were at thier friends house swimming and since we were bored, we joined them and took too many pictures.
after which we went by Ulohs to get changed to hit Aramis for karaoke.
i like the low-keyness of aramis, no signboard outside, soundproof walls, and few people every come out to sing.
So we dominated the karaoke bar, and got invited to show up next week.
So if you are in the buj, and up for some karaok-ing on sunday night- get at me.
Although i must warn you, I sound like a tush frog aka i can not sing. Although I'm pretty sure i sound better than Tiwa "struggle" savage.
All in all it was an amazing weekend.
with not enough sleep and now all i wanna do is sleep.
Side bar, Cup Cake couture in Lagos Makes the most amazing cupcakes ever.
I sent the Lover a box because he was mad, and he is better now.
I miss him and my family but strangely i am not homesick.
stranger things have happened, so i guess i shouldnt be so shocked.
and OMG i had no idea how disgusting new staff could be, especially the overtly forward ones.
like how about you just shurrup and do your job and leave me in peace and quiet.
nooooo instead he fills my blissful quiet with inane ramblings that i do not care for.
im thankful lent is here and i dont have to suffer thier Yoruba gists during lunch- anymore.
Okay its not disgusting- just very disturbing i really dont like it.
I also wish the firm would give new staff adequate traning instead of saying you will learn on the job.
Its unfair to the other people on the job.
Especially when the new staff- can not take ordinary minutes.
exteremly frustrating. BUT we shall over come.
How is it that my 2nd deal dey account has my name as Akanke Okoro?
I quit these people.
The theme of this trip is " she must chop my money"
like Abuja men are just on that splurging tip.
My cousin has introduced me to at least 3 of her boyfriends this week, and all are on that chop my money tip.
like baby, you can have whatever you like.
im amused.
Unlike thier Lagos counterparts.
however what lagos boys lack in " shop my money-ism" they make up for in Lyrics, game ans swegsss.
Abuja Male species need a major reorientation of the art of courting, toasting, chyking, walking up to a lady.
in a nut shell, Abuja men & Boys Lack game.
It breaks my heart for them. All that free cash and no game to back it up.
Maybe because im a lagos girl, but the abuja girls dont seem to mind, they prefer the sound of crisp notes to conversation.
perhaps Abuja boys and girls are made for each other?
And im just here saying my own?
This post is everywhere. I know im still suffering from Lack of sleep coupled with the insane ovulation pain that decided to stop by and say hey to my uterus and has me alternating between yawning and gnashing of teeth.

Thankful
I wrote this and I decided to share it here.
Dare i say it, My life right now is perfect.
and I am thankful. for both small and great blessings alike.
for stolen kisses and earth shattering toe curling orgasms
for pink nails and bra length weaves
for shitty network services and even shittier wifi services.

Bubble gum pink nails
Usually im the red talon jezebel-esque wielding nails typa girl.
But in the spirit of xmas i decided to cut it short AND paint it pink.
think nicki minaj pink.
luckily for me, my nails are beautiful so it came out looking nice and shii.
but i didnt realise how nice it actually looked until i was making eba for my mum
and i stopped. they looked gorge.
so i used style to delegate plate washing to my brother so that the nails wont shaa on time. lol
My sister is coming home finally!
Im excited! i missed her, im also worried about the logistics.
what car would be available, sleeping arrangements, wardrobe space.
ive gotten so used to having my own space, i cant believe i have to share a room again.
this is motivation to go and do that masters
of which the school keeps emailing me. unfailingly by feb i should have gotten it out of the way.
my 1st xmas in lagos in over 10 years.
mixed feelings, because i really dont have a clique of friends just people i talk too, i cant make concrete plans for xmas.
the lover has to work through the holiday- even though his mum invited me to thier family breakfast- sidebar, i think that is waaay too much sha.
but since my own mother wont be here- i really should have followed her to the village to be fair to my self- never again.
AND my students have been released for holiday, even though they didnt want to leave, they are sooo cute.
although they banged the 1st test i gave them, they are improving.
today i was looking through a students note AND she wrote my name and the english translation.
i was so tickled about the whole thing.
i was telling debo- my darling friend- who uses me as a make shift girlfriend minus the sex when his real gf is outta town, ab out how this xmas is gonna really suck and if he would be so kind as to find me a private jet so i can go to benin on sunday morning.
that would be nice.
so it turns out a number of people in my fitness groups have body magic, i have been saying i will buy it since, but - to be honest to myself, i really dont need it. except its a gift i would continue slaving at the gym. although shapers would be nice.
turns out this xmas is gonna see me with a lot of free time on my hands.
AND i have 3 store counts to attend too.
sometimes, i think i should be a super model or sthg equally glamorous. i feel like im wasting away here inthis 9-5 rat race.
i read the bobo omotayo book, it seemed okay, except i had read most of the articles on BN. however i agree with his views on lagos life.
lagos life has a box and its impossible for me to fit into it.
i think its because im not class concious enough.
and i know this is a good thing, because my mother told me so.
speaking of my mother when i gave her the eba to eat, she didnt complain, which meant it was ace.
so i pushed my luck for a compliment and said, ahn you didnt say anything about the eba.
oh its perfect she replied.
you'll make whoever you marry very proud.
My mother makes me feel like a princess, like everybody is undeserving of me.
sometimes( in minute nano seconds) i wish she could pick out my husband for me.
then i snap out of that.
speaking of which do we all hae that opposite sex friend who can say shit to you and get away with it?
I have this friend we grew up together, although he dated my sister, we still speak once in a while, but when he calls me conversation is so great its amazing.
yay to old friends that just pick up where we left off. its just so easy with him.
im guessing its because we have known each other forever.
i hate stupid old men that strip me naked with thier eyes in the gym.
and i hate the young men that do it as well.
yup this means i have resumed going to the gym.
i swear i need someone to kick my ass more often.
back to the lover's mother inviting me for Christmas breakfast, im kinda undecided.
My mum thinks i should go,as does everyone else, including the lover, who is going to play that its so rude to turn down my mother's invitation card.
Festus asked me why i stopped tweeting about the lover, he asked if it was maturity.
what i heard was him fishing for gist assuming the lover and i have split.
i mean know its paranoid to think thats what he was on about, but i mean he was out of town for two weeks, out of sight, out of tweet content.
besides i had my students keeping me busy so i tweeted about them.
you know whats weird, compliments from people who dont care about/ probably wont ever see again making you feel good.
especially drivers- dont judge me.
if i accost the for wanting to hit me, they will now say, how i wan take jam fine girl like you.
lol that makes my day.
Dealdey is amazing.
i will gist you people what they did for me. i was touched.
Good customer relations will get you everywhere.
especially for someone like me who is rude.
and one more thing, i wish i had "friends" coming in this Christmas.
all the people have their own friends coming in an have abandoned me.
steph is off to SA with her best friend.
I really enjoy my company, i would write and read and shit, but Xmas is family / loved ones related. sadly, Mummy is travelling AND lover is working.
sister will return and run off to her boyfriend - in Jesus name, because God knows i need the space.
brothersgirl he has been chasing forever girlfriend is in town so he would be with her, and all that.

happy lives here.
The lover is back.
and all is well with my world.
I also told him i teach and he keeps teasing me about it.
I also did not realise how much i missed him till i saw him.
he also added a ton of weight. I may just have to put my foot down on his weight loss attempts.
that being said, i had a delish weekend.
Nothing but watch games, eat chinese and watch tv with the lover.
I really really really like december.
December reminds me of when i met the lover, and sneaking out at 12 midnight to return at 5am just to listen to really good music.
I have one of those weird ass Love stories.
weird but good.
Im just lying here and being happy if there is anything like that.
it also helps that im shopping online as well.
December in Lagos is always sooo packed. P on P on P.
urgh hate it. wanted to go to my village but work said no.
actually work didnt say no.
along the line i just didnt go.
Im also worried about having to go do a masters, I went to see my sister in April
and she burst into tears when we were leaving.
and then i started crying as well.
thats how much we must have missed each other. and we arent even friends.
talk less of the people you actually like.
I have no idea how i would cope for a year away from all the people i love, mummy, my brother, my lover.
i get teary eyed thinking about it.
i must device a coping mechanism. MUST.
anyways must stop thinking about it.
My friend is giving me a birthday present tomorrow.
Im sooo excited. i cant wait to see what it is, shoes? pants? clothes? a sheer blouse?
i also need to get my hair did. however since i have told all my office people thaty my hair is yansh length im just going to save my self the drama and wait till we close for the year.
ALSO- its Uwana's birthday on Saturday Im too excited about the whole thing.
You'd think she was my child.
I still cant believe Ope has a kid and is married.
Everything is moving so fast.
and everyone is changing so fast.
and im just lying still in the middle of all of it, being happy.

Winner
I won a skinny belt today.
I hope this starts my winning streak.
My motto is this,
If you can think it, you can win it.
I already plan to give the belt to my friend Eneni.
It just feels so nice to be a winner.
Many thanks to Pam, the giver away,
And Asake who sarcastically attempted to dampen my hustle,
You made me fight harder,
It feels good to win. Would be back with a better post soon.
I'm just too excited.

Compliments
My friend A, just sent this to me randomly on bbm today.
" You are a very peculiar woman O. You can imagine how much this irks me( Joking) to say this but you are really awesome ( when you look beyond your great diva-ness- lol). Your (rather expansive) grasp of things around you and your informed appreciation for things from rap to football to politics, makes you a rather unique lady. I'm very proud of you as a friend. I just thought you should know that"
* turns of background violin music*
When people ask me how i can sleep at night being who i am, i should show them this message.
It totally blew me away.
I literally had to rinse my self. this washing was too much.
But thank you A. now if this pride can translate itself into one of the things on my birthday wishlist.
lol jk.
